Artificial ear Type 43AF

The Artificial Ear Type 43AF is a complete test jig for acoustically testing telephone handsets and earphones and complies with ANSI S 3.7 – 1995 – American National Standard for Testing Earphones.

The Type 43AF comprises:

• NBS 9-A Coupler RA0075
• Thread Adapter RA0076
• 1" Pressure Microphone Type 40EN (in 64 AA configuration)
• ¼" Preamplifier Type 26AC
• Type RA0052 Test Jig

The Test Jig has an adjustable spring-loaded arm to exert a variable force on the test object.
