Intensity Power Module - Type 12AB

The Intensity Power Module Type 12AB is a two-channel, battery-operated, microphone power supply for use with the Sound Intensity Probe Type 50AI versions B, C and D.
 
It has a 12-pin LEMO 1B input connector for direct connection with the intensity probe and two BNC output sockets for the microphone signals. Furthermore, the Type 12AB has a 9 pin D-sub socket for connecting to the RS232 port of a computer for software control of the remote-control facilities of the Sound Intensity Probe Type 50AI.

The Type 12AB has a battery indicator to monitor battery condition and an input socket for an external power supply.

The cabinet width is ¹/₁₂^th of a standard 19” rack. With the rack mounting system Type AK0040, 12 of these Power Modules can be mounted in a standard 19” rack.

The AK0040 is a shelf for mounting instrument cabinets, e.g. G.R.A.S. Power Modules, and can itself be mounted in a standard 19" instrumentation rack via its flanges. It can house instruments 133 mm high and is wide enough to contain instruments amounting up to a total width of 430 mm.
