Click to enlargeThe G.R.A.S. ½-inch Preamplifier Type 26CF is for connection to G.R.A.S. CCP1 input channels, e.g. see Type 12AL. It has a standard BNC output connector and is for use with prepolarised microphones. It is delivered without a cable.

It also has two flush-mounted switches for selecting various combinations of gain and filtering, i.e.:

Gain switch settings:

  • 0dB - for normal microphone signals.
  • +20dB - for boosting weak microphone signals.

Filter switch settings:

  • A-Weighting - as required in standard measurements.
  • Linear - to let the microphone signal pass unfiltered.
  • High-pass - to cut off unwanted low frequencies

The Type 26CF can be used with the following ½" G.R.A.S. prepolarised microphones:
